چکیده

As the share of battery-electric vehicles (BEVs) in car fleets increases, more and holders will need to charge their electric at public facilities. Designing charging infrastructure so as make it attractive current future BEV thus becomes essential. We implemented a choice experiment with large sample (N = 950) non-BEV 1,881) examine relevance several design features that are widely presumed be important this regard: waiting (queueing) time, price, energy source, amenities. Mean queueing time turns out most relevant, also willing pay for limiting or avoiding (uncertain) times. The main implications commercial providers they should seek provide fast charging, real-time observability charger occupancy, opportunity reserve chargers.
